We can provide a Horse/Dressage Arena Cover stretched between 5 posts (4m and 8m tall) mounted on foundations along each edge of the arena. The 10 posts are tied down with cables to 20 foundations, two for each post, around your own arena.
You need to have an existing arena (60 Meters x 20 Meters) with at least 5 meters of land available on all sides to erect the posts and tensioning cables.
Our local Regional Council requires that the foundation can tolerate a total lift of 150 Tonnes which could be generated by wind gusts of up to 100 km/hr.
The cover is shaped and covers an area around 75m x 27m and is tensioned to very strong and heavy foundations, so that it can tolerate any expected wind loadings in your area.
The wing pictured is the first one built in the World and is at Kellosheil Park in Bathurst, Australia. This one represents the most expensive ( at around $450,000) where the ground provides no holding strength whatsoever and the entire loading must be carried by the weight of the reinforced concrete foundations.
The Wing can be easily lit for night time use. It provides an alternative to an enclosed dressage arena and is Elegant, Protective from sun and rain, Horse Friendly as it unenclosed, and it is Silent, as rain drops make only a gentle sound.
